Default Easy life in Kitchen

Now-a-Days life is getting so busy that we just want the things get done quickly.

Here are some tips which will make your kitchen work easier:

# While boiling milk, always add a little water at the base of the vessel to avoid the milk from sticking at the bottom.

#Add a tsp. of hot oil to homemade pastes of garlic, ginger or green chili, along with salt to make it last longer and taste fresher.

# Potatoes soaked in salt water for 20 minutes will bake more rapidly.

# Never discard the water in which vegetables are cooked, use it in gravies or soups.

# Put tomatoes in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave it for about 5 minutes. Take out one by one, piercing them with a sharp knife, the skin will peel off easily.

I hope this will help..

I will try your tip for the tomatoes. My DD always complains if there is a tomato peel in the curry.
She says she gets choked with it and she is 10yrs.

Thanks for posting
Adara

It is truly said that the heart of every home lies in the homemaker and in a cozy and comfortable kitchen. Household work is a very common thing and yet there is something new for all of us to learn. The tips given by prema is really very useful. thank you. Well these tips i do at home so i thought of sharing it with you all.

# Removing the skin of almond can be done easily if you soak them in hot water for around 15-20 minutes.

# If ants always seem to find their way in your sugar container, then try putting 2-4 cloves in the container
