Who killed Arushi Talwar

It is quite tragic that the best investigative agency in India has been unable to make much headway in the Arushi Talwar Murder case even though one year has passed since the commission of crime.

14 year old school student Arushi was murdered on 16^th May 2008. The immediate suspicion fell on the family servant Hemraj. However, a day later, the body of the family servant, Hemraj was found on the terrace with his throat slit in a similar fashion.

No doubt, Arushi’s parents have suffered a lot at the hands of both the U.P. Police and the media. There is every reason to believe that they are innocent. But, then who do you think actually killed Arushi Talwar?

According to media reports, vital evidence went missing due to the sheer unprofessionalism of U.P.Police. As of now, everyone is under the scanner. The case would have been solved if the murder weapon and the mobile phone were located. It is believed that the mobile phone may throw some light on the matter.

I have a sneaking doubt that the father, Dr Talwar knows the murderer and is trying to save him/her. The murder took place at night and there are no signs of forced entry into the house.
First, he did not immediately call the Police after discovering the murder. Which father on seeing his murdered daughter, will seek legal opinion first and then call the Police, unless he has a motive.
Second, the murderer has slashed the neck with surgical precision. This means he/she is familiar with surgical instruments.
Thirdly, the father had initially put the blame on Hemraj. Most fathers will try and seek his daughter’s murderer himself especially if the suspect is the servant of the house. He will also search his own house including the roof top thoroughly.
Somewhere, someone is not telling the truth.

ya it is really tragic that one year had passed but no clue yet who the actuall culprit is ,in the starting when media was active police keep on guessing n blaming someone or other n now everything is cool down,but anyway a father will never rest till the real people had been caught if he is honest n nothing to hide as we had seen in the past in many cases in Delhi one father was fighting for 20 yrs for the justice of her daughter,n in this case parents were in the house so they must be having some clue n could be easily reached to the mudrer if tried hard.

I don’t agree that Dr Talwar is guilty. If my memory serves me right, it is Krishna who is to blame. Krishna was the compounder of Dr Talwar. Krishna nursed a grievance against Dr Talwar because he had rudely rebuked him for a mistake in front of the patients.
That night Krishna, Rajkumar and Hemraj had drinks. Later, Rajkumar tried to force himself on Arushi. When Arushi resisted, Krishna struck Arushi with a khukri and killed her. I think this was stated by Krishna during his narco test.
It is a matter of time that the dots are joined and Krishna is behind bars.

I, being proud father of my three children feel concerned and pained. Who killed Aarushi is yet a mystry but I am of the view that the household affairs management of Talwar's led them to face the tragedy. They neglacted their duty of keeping themselves fully apprised of the happenings/activities in their house. Can such a tragedy take place in a house where the parents live on their low earnings? Servants can never become your family members. Neglecting your family at the cost of earning often results in such irrepairable losses.

I agree with you. The parents' behavior was very fishy since the beginning. They kept changing statements and details of the incidents. I mean, just imagine, we all still remember each and every detail about the 26/11 attacks... Can any parent forget anything about the day their only daughter was murdered.

Humans don't forget bad days... That's the main problem with most of us...

But still... we can't blame the father because CBI has acquited him. God Knows Who Killed that poor girl

I have a theory. I think it was Hemraj who was murdered first after a drinking session. His shouts brought up Arushi who was then killed. Arushi's parents were not at home on that night. They discovered the body only in the morning, and therefore called up legal aid before calling the police.

I think the father is somehow linked to the murder.He does not seem to show any emotion or any kind of grief.The police will not arrest a "FATHER" if they had suspected somethjing strong.There are too many missing links in this case.
And even the mother seems to be hiding something by the way she spoke to the media.

Aarushi aged 14, was found dead in her apartment in Jal Vayu Vihar, Noida. On 16 May the police named Hemraj as the main accused. Ironically the dead body of the accused was also discovered in the same house that afternoon. After this discovery the police backtracked their statement.
On 23 May 2008 Dr Talwar, Arushi;s father, was arrested as the prime accused for the murder. The day again saw large scale bungling by the police with Noida Police and UP Police issuing contradictory statements.
Later the case was handed over to CBI. With the CBI taking over, the needle of suspicion turned towards Krishna, the Compounder of Dr Talwar. Krishna was subjected to Narco tests. Although some clues were obtained the results were not conclusive. This was followed by yet another goof up, with the CBI claiming that Krishna had confessed his involvement. However, this was denied by his lawyer. Thereafter the next person to be found on the Radar Screen was Rajkumar, the domestic help of Durranis. He was arrested on 27th June. He is supposed to posses a bloodstained T Shirt and also have knowledge about the mobile phones of Arushi and Hemraj.
There are allegations that Dr Talwar and his wife Nupur Talwar were not present in the home when the murders took place. The Talwars have vociferously denied this and Nupur Talwar is reported to have visited the CBI headquarters on Lodhi Road in Delhi and complained about concocted stories in the Media. The case has really got very mysterious now.
CBI has also alleged that Dr Talwar is not co-operating with them. This turns the case in a full circle. Hopefully the agency manages some conclusive findings in the days ahead.
