Hanuman Mandir

Do anyone know about the famous Hanuman Mandir in delhi built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the year 1724?
It is situated at the Baba Kharak Singh Marg (road) near Connaught Place. It is said that this temple is the oldest Hanuman temple in the country. However, since the time of its construction, the Lord Hanuman Temple of New Delhi has undergone many restorations. One of the highlights of the temple is the 24-hour chanting of the mantra 'Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram', since August 1, 1964. And you will be glad to know that this continuous chanting has even secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Hi! Charandeep Kaur. Thanks for sharing the information. I have also visited the Hanuman Mandir. The Hanuman Mandir idol represents the Lord in a very young age“ Bala Hanuman”. A trip to the mandir is a complete outing.
After puja, you can have lots of kachori with aloo sabzi from the vendors in front of the temple. There are plenty of bangle sellers and bindi walas at the back of the mandir. The stuff is pretty good. You can round off your visit by getting excellent 'mehendi' designs done on your hands.
