    Hi,
Here is a recipe for Kadhi Pakora.Hope you like it.

Kadhi Pakora-In a bowl mix some onions, gram flour(besan),turmeric, salt, green chillies and some water.Keep the batter thick and with your hands drop small balls of this mixture in hot oil and deep fry them.In a bowl beat curds and water then add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder and coriander seed powder(if needed you can add 1-2 tsp of besan in this). In a pan heat some oil.Add some cumin seeds(jeera),fenugreek seeds, thinly sliced onions and stir fry for some time. Then add the mixture and allow it to boil for some time. Then add the pakodas and let it cook for some time.Add coriander.

I would like to know about water consistency? How much water is to be added with curd.. twice or thrice.

Well it depends on how much thick or thin kadhi you prefer.Personally I feel its good to keep it a bit on the thinner side coz after adding the pakodas the kadhi tends to become a bit thicker. So its good to keep the amount of water thrice that of curds, but again its personal choice. And if you feel its a bit too thin then you can always mix a tsp of besan in water and add it to the kadhi which on cooking will provide the neccessary thickness.

One of my Punjabi friend adds lots of garlic too, just after the onions. It tastes awesome. Try if you like it. :)

I recently started making Kadhi Pakora and Manjula's Kitchen recipe gives the perfect proportions for water and besan. Give it a try.
