How to make Diwali Lantern/Akash Diva/Kandil at home?

I want to make diwali lantern at home this year. Can anybody tell how to make a diwali lantern (akash diva/kandil). I don't know it's hindi name. I have seen people making beautiful lanterns at home. If anyone can tell me how to make it, it would be great. And also if you can post pictures of the same so that we can see how it looks.

Still waiting...... I found quite a few links on google, but those were not exactly what i was looking for... well m going to try out few things with paper on my own... will let u know if i can come up with something good...
