eco friendly ganesha idol at home

    Hi, friends as you all know, ganpati festival is approaching soon, and i thought i can make a clay ganesha idol at home,,i need to know which kind of clay is water soluble ..what is air dry clay ..has anybody tried any clay to make ganesha???

    Check member Geetha Mahesh's post. A doc has been attached to it giving details of how Ganesh idol can be done.
    Actually even i was searching for one so found this :)
    I am planning to make Ganapati using play dough clay this year.
    Advantage is.. u get many colurs in it so, dont have to paint it again & being a beginner a best approach for me..

    Hi, am currently in Germany and last year had the same wish....didn't get clay too....i did it with wheat flour, painted it, worshiped with all customs and was easily able to immerse it.....it dissolved with in a few days and we mixed the water with mud....and it was all easy. Just sharing a picture here

    I enjoyed it all and made me not miss home!!
