need suggestion to make varalakshmi statue without coconut.

hi everybody,
i need a suggestion about making varalakshmi statues at home without using coconut.i am currently in shanghai,we won,t get coconut here.so if anyone have suggestions regarding this ,please let me know.i will be really thankful for you.
because we used to celebrate this festival in a very grand manner at home in our native.so i just dont want to miss it this year without keeping the godess statue.

You can use any fruit as base....we don't do Vratha at home, so we just use hard Sweet lime. I think any fruit is ok.

thanks a lot for your reply.i was not able to implement your idea today because now it was very late(10.00pm) here.
i actually waited till 6.00pm but no reply from anybody.anyways,you responded me,really very happy.
next year also,during this festival, i will be in shanghai only.surely,i will try your idea.
