Want to learn how to go
    From this cleaneye.jpg to this step11.jpg ?

Here are the step-by-step instructions. (Unfortunately forum rules don't permit me to post my photos, or i would have demonstrated how to do this makeup on my own eyes.)

    You will need
    1. yellow, green, purple, dark blue, orange, pink eyeshadows (of these yellow and green can be matte or shimmer textured...others must be matte)

    2. Black eyeliner

    3. Mascara

    4. Shimmery white eyeshadow or matte skin tome eyeshadow

    Okay lets get started....

    1. Apply yellow in the inner corner of ur eyes

    step1.jpg

    2. Apply pink all over the eyes...lightly (a thin layer, just for a hint of colour)and blend it well

    step2.jpg

    3. Apple green in the center of the eyelids, on top of the pink. Apply generously (thick layer) blend the edge where it meets yellow for a nice shaded look

    4. Apply dark blue on the outer corner near the green (a generously thick layer)
blend the edge where it meets green for a nice shaded look
    step4.jpg

    5. Apply purple above the blue and take it in, on top of the green. Blend where the edges of blue and green shadows meet purple, for a smooth transition

    step5.jpg

    6. Apply orange on the lower lash line, from the yellow till just past the center...don't take it till the outer corner

    step6.jpg

    7. Apply a highlight...This goes above your purple eyeshadow near the brows.

Here you have 2 options...either keep it simple and matte or go for shimmery silver/white highlight. It depends on whether you are wearing it during day or night...and your preference...

You can either use a shimmery silver highlight

    step7option2.jpg
Or you can use a flesh tone matte eyeshadow or compact foundation powder. I like it simple and matte. It makes it look like your skin.

If you have a fair complexion, you can even stop at this point and apply your mascara.

If you have a dark complexion like me...it will look better with eyeliner...

    8. Apply your eyeliner on top and bottom outer corner lash line

    step8.jpg

    9. Smudge the eyeliner (you can smudge with black eyeshadow, but its optional)

    step9.jpg

    10. Apply some purple eyeshadow on the bottom lash line and smudge

    step10.jpg

    11. Apply mascara on top and bottom lashes..

    step11.jpg

Try this colourful eye makeup with a simple black top or dress....

    Enjoy !

    Hi Kittydoll

Though yr post has listed simple n easy to follow steps of applying colourful eye makeup but in the current fashion scene where "less is more" n with brands using tag lines like "make-up which does not look made-up"[lakme], I guess there wud not be many who would want to strut around decorated like peacocks !!

Please girls, before anyone jumps onto me, my post is not meant to offend anyone. I am putting down the first thoughts I had when I saw those "colourful eyes" !!!

    love,
    kylie

    Ur right kylie, but...

    people have their preferences..

some people like it simple...some like to go bold...

sometimes i like to go simple, sometime loud...

this is only a tutorial that'll help achieve this look, if you ever wanted to do it....

and also kylie, fashion is not the same everywhere...i live in australia, where it is okay to strut around with peacock eyes lol...here its okay to even have ur hair coloured pink along with ur peacock makeup...haha

i used to live in the middle east...and over there u can do a really bold makeup and go for grocery shopping.....their makeup is bold...u must have heard of arabic makeup

so it depends...on so many factors...

    take it or leave it

    peace !

    Hi Kittydoll,

Love yr attitude girl !! It is usually said that our attitude often reflects in our make-up ! You r right - one needs to be bold to carry such make-up with elan. I'm certainly not one of them - I am happy following trends n going with the "herd".

    love,
    kylie
