Thumbs up Pudina Paneer

Ingredients



1/2 bunch fresh pudina leaves-chopped or 1/4 cup dried pudina,

3 onions-sliced finely,

250 gms paneer,

1/4 tsp haldi(turmeric pd.),

3/4 tsp red chilli pd.,

3/4 tsp garam masala,

2 tomato-chopped without pulp,

salt to taste

and 4 tsp oil

Method



1. Cut tomatoes into 4 big pieces.removing the pulp,

chop into tiny pieces. keep pulp aside.



2. Cut paneer into 1/2"cubes.



3. Heat oil. Add onions and cook till light brown. Add haldi, red chilli pd. and salt. Cook for 1/2 minute.



4. add tomato pulp and cook for 1-2 minutes till pulp is dry.



5. add the paneer and finely chopped pudina and tomato pieces.




6. add garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.


Serve hot

Aachari Paneer

1.Heat 4 tbsp oil.

2.Add 2 tsp saunf, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp methi dana, 1/2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji) and 1 tsp jeera and fry till they crackle.

3.Add 3 chopped onions and 3-4 chopped green chillies till golden.

4.Add 1 tsp haldi, 5-6 crushed garlic flakes and 1" piece crushed ginger.

5.Gradually add 1/2 cup beaten curd, stirring constantly.

6.Add 1 1/2 tsp amchoor and salt.

7.Cook till curd dries slightly.

8.Just before serving, add 300 gms Amul Paneer and a few slit green chillies.

9.Sprinkle with salt and 1/2 tsp chilli powder.

10.Stir for 1-2 mins on low flame.

Serve hot.
