About the Contest...

We have posted a love letter here. It is written by a love-lorn wife to her husband living in the Gulf. You need to step into the shoes of her husband and write a suitable reply to her letter!

Contest is open ONLY till October 29, 2005.

What is so special about this Contest?

We thought apart from exercising your writing skills and creative thinking, this will be an opportunity to take a role of a husband. Yeah...you would be changing roles to view the problem from the men's angle. Isn't it exciting?

Also, be aware that weightage would be given to the language, writing-style and the way the wife's arguments are handled.

So, go ahead...read the love letter. Try your mind and hands in replying to it. Don't forget to take tips from your husband (if you are married!)

Before we declare whose reply to the love letter wins the prize, first our Best Wishes to Varalotti for coming up with a nice sensitive letter. Being a man its truly difficult to think from a woman's perspective so precisely and honestly.

With slight variation, the ‘content’ of all the letters was almost the same, where Vasu promises to come back (except Nanda’s), but the ‘manner’ in which it is expressed is different in all the replies.

Unlike the earlier contest of writing a story climax, where there was a requirement to match with the tone and style of the original writer, here it is not so, since two people are involved, expressing themselves in their own style.
