Isn't it food that connects ladies everywhere!! We need it to survive, we nourish our children with it, we impress our loved ones with it and now even if we're too busy to cook it we can buy it - there's just no escaping it. It dominates every function be it a birthday, wedding, prayer and if the food is good then memories of the function will be good.

I stumbled upon Indusladies while browsing for Indian recipes, people and lifestyle. While I've come across numerous recipes sometimes I'm afraid to even try them cos the names or ingredients are unfamiliar or it seemed so different to what we are used to.

After interacting on IL I've become eager to try many Indian recipes when I 'hear' ladies talk so fondly of it and I realise it's a everyday dish not an exotic meal.

I'm eager to send my entry now since it is the first time I made this and I was quite pleased with the results!! So was my husband.
