I'm sure many of you would have been waiting to know who's the winner and what was the winning decision. Before I announce the winner and her entry, let me talk these points. It's not the decision that made us choose this member a winner. It's the truth and honesty spoken about her decision. While there could have been thoughts to say that her girl would be sent abroad for eduction, for this being a contest in a majority Indian Ladies site, this member has come out honestly with her loud and clear decision.  who would i send? I will send my Son; My initial reaction was to send my daughter as I did not get equal oppurtunity growing up. But in the few moments it took me to start writing I know for me it will be my son. ofcourse i will love both equally. so the reason ; I have seen so many difficulties and problems. I know i did my best with the limited education i have. But I am successful as a wife and mother because I did not get any fancy education also I was taught the importance of being a wife and housewife. Even if it sounds sexist I feel its the man's place to earn the primary income and if i have daughter and son I would have brought them up based on my thinking. There is no way one can say once way is only right because it depends on circumstances. So this is my choice to send son abroad for higher studies. regards anandchitra
