What would you gift? - Contest for the month of August

Dear IL ites,

I am sure many you would be wondering what happened to this month's special contest in addition to the Registration / Refer-a-friend contest and Finest post nominations.

What would you gift a 80-year old loving Father is the contest for this month?

It is not as easy as gifting your young toddler kid or your teenage son / daughter. It is not as easy as gifting your beloved spouse too. While many times we have been thinking what to gift our sisters, brothers, friends, colleagues and other relatives on various occassions, where we have several choices it hasn't been an easy decision. It is needless to mention that it is not so easy to decide on a perfect and useful gift for a 80-year old Father.

If you think of gifting him a dress...oh, he already has many a wardrobe full.
If any eatables...he probably has sugar, bp, cholesterol and all those common old age health condition that does not permit him to eat many.
If you are thinking of an ice bag, hot water flask, walking stick, etc. how many can you get?

Didn't he give you a wonderful life and all that you wanted in your life? What is the special gift that you will get him? Comeon think...come up with wonderful gift ideas for the 80-year old young man. Let's cheer up the rest of his life too with wonderful gifts...
