Coimbatore to OOty

Hi

I am planning a trip to Ooty in July.I am coming from Palakkad.So how can i reach Metupalayam.I would like to go to Ooty By the Toy Train.How many kilometers its there to Metupalayam from Coimbatore?And what will be the climate in July?

1 hr from palaghat to coimbatore then from coimbatore to mettupalayam 45 mins
from there it will take nearly 2 hours to reach ooty by bus
if u prefer train from metupalayam then u should be in metupalayam by 6 am it will take 3 hr to reach by train

Thanks Vijay...I booked tickets for toy train.But its waiting list No.2.So i have to stay in Metupalayam.So can u suggest good Hotels in Metupalayam..

Ems mayura hotel is just near to railway station if u want some peacful hotel mean u can try black thunder but this is 4 km away from railway station but mayura is good you better go for mayura

In ooty try to stay in hotel darshan it realy silent and good and homely
