Painting and Drawing Oppurtunities/Studies

Hi,

My sister live in Coimbatore. She is now 31 years old. She is very much interested in Painting and Drawing. She has completed her 10th and when she was doing her diploma in home science, she discontinued her studies. She is now working as a teacher in a good school in coimbatore. She has done her higher and lower examination in Drawing (like how we do for typewriting). She is an excellent artist and knows various kinds of paintings. She sells her paintings too for good rates. But she still have a worry that she is not having any degree.

She now wants to do a diploma in Arts and Crafts. Please let me know if you know any Open University in India which offers Diploma in Arts and Crafts. Also let me know other oppurtunities in Coimbatore for her.

My sister did Higher and Lower examination in Drawing. She did it long back when she was doing her 10th standard. It should be atleast 15 years back. She applied for the test and completed the test with the guidance of her drawing Master (like how we have schools for typewriting). If you have any Drawing Classes near by, you can probably get some information from them. I will also try to get some information from my sister.

I know Ajantha school of arts is providing Lower and Higher level exams in Drawing. Now, I don't have the details. Their syllabus is also good. Special courses for children is also available. One has to give exams after the courses.

I have come to know that maharashtra governments conducts these exams. wanted to know if there is some exam conducted by tn.
