Need help for drapping Madisar Saree

    Hi Group,

    I need assistance for drapping Madisar saree as I am from a Punjabi background and am not aware of how to drap 9 yard sari for my marriage.

    I am based out of Delhi and am looking for a stylist/designer/etc or any pointers who can get me through with this.

    I have seen various articles and videos but I am looking for a stylist and experienced person who can help me in wearing madisar sari on the day of my marriage.

    Would appreciate any kind of help!

    I am not sure if there are Stylists available for Madisar...Since Madisar is worn by a particular community in Tamilnadu(and parts of Kerala) i havent heard of stylists doing this...Its usually elders in the family who help our generation ladies with the madisar

    You can get the madisar stitched in Chennai. Not sure whether that's an option where you are.

    Go for Ready made ones or check in Youtube and follow instructions.

    Not so difficult especially if you have to tie it for someone. Tying for our self is a little difficult.

    If you can find TN based beauticians or bridal make up people, they will help on the same. Usually, the groom's sister(even cousins) start up with draping the saree. If someone is available then ask them to carry on with the draping of madisar.
