Need tips on 'Dressing'

Hello All,

First things first, thanks you all for the wonderful site. I'm a silent reader of the site for about a couple of years though I registered recently. This is my first post and i wanted to discuss something more important to me/most. I know we all have our personal taste and preference when coming to dressing/fashion. But there ought to be the basics/tips/tricks to dress ourself elegantly as most of us are socially active/office goers.

Of late, I feel like my dressing sense is not up to the mark :drowning. And for a long time, I wanted to learn to dress and present myself well. So, please pour in your suggestions/tips on dressing, mix and matching, color-co-ordination. kneesmiley This could help other I'lites as well.

Yes very good topic .. looking forward for suggestions ..

1.We should first of all find a good tailor and wear a proper fit especially for office going ladies

2,Iron reguarly
3.We can have 2 or 3 handbags and match our salwar.
4.Wear a slight heel to give a good look ..

We should have shirts and trousers both in black and white colors.
I like to have belly shoes/peep toes in some colors. We do not have a dress code in office though.

I have worked as a personal shopper. It all depends on your body shape,slim or healthy, height and skin tone, what kind is your job environment and culture.
And also if you want to focus on indian attire or western with dresses or a simple jeans and shirts/t shirt

Hi ilites, actually I did fashion design and i do update about fashion on and off. I do stitching on my own. So I think I can suggest some.
For the summer, do prefer light shades, if u r going out.
If u r wearing loose top, wear fitted one for the bottom and vice versa.
For casual outing, prefer casual outfits. Don't go for anarkali with some work on the dress. Bcoz I do c a lot in malls. That's not the outfit to go for.
If u go for printed top or bottom, try plain color to go with. It will make sense.
