Post what you're wearing + Personal Style Suggestions for you

I've started this thread as an off shoot of the discussion that began to take place on:

It reminded me of my journey with embracing fashion and how much fun I have with it now. So ladies and gents, I am inviting you to post visuals of the apparel/accessories you're wearing because a pictures say a thousand words! You can also find similar apparel/accessories online and post pictures of those to give an idea.

If you would like suggestions, give me an idea of your height, your body shape (if you are comfortable, or you can PM me), your complexion and the colors you love/hate ...I'll help put together a look tailored just for you!


First up:

I'm going to recommend a classic A-line dress for you. Originally I was swinging between which one to recommend...warm colors or cool colors...but then I realized Why not a blend of both that are complementary and will go well with summer? The print on this dress makes it versatile to pull in similar or complementary colors alike, and add layers.

Here's another version geared for winter-wear.

Building on the same themes:

- Woven or felt coat in beige, baby blues or white (preferably with a belt or flared bottom to give some shape). You can layer a belted woven cardigan sweater underneath.
- Classic A line white/blue pattern dress with splashes of coral
- Scarf (can be thicker for winter)
- Gold toned jewelry or jewelry that picks colors from your dress
- White, Beige or Baby Blue handbag
- Brown, Beige/Nude, or Gray tights (thick, opaque tights for winter) in solids, subtle patterns or complementary prints if you're feeling adventurous
- Brown leather boots preferably with a zipper or lace up which tend to be more shapely than the regular pull on boots. You can either get ones that are fur-lined for really cold winters or layer on some leg warmers and socks. AND long brown, blue or orange gloves. Same goes for any thing you want to wear on your head to keep warm like a beanie, beret or trapper.

You've got all the basics down, dear Kishore but I want to push you to consider textures and patterns. I'm inspired by the tie you have in there. As I said, it reminded me of carbon fiber and woven patterns. Here's some suggestions put together just for you to consider layers, patterns and how these can expand to your accessories such as belt and shoes. Hope you like it
