Dry Clean

    What did the Word "Dry Clean or உலர் சலவை" mean actually? As i know, it is a process of cleaning clothes with chemicals..But When i bought a saree labelled "dry clean only",the shop keeper said it can be washed with water but suggested not to use detergent..When i asked another person in the shop she said u can wash it but not to iron it..Confused :confused2: Can anyone clear my doubt?

    Hi Snowyhats,
    If it says Dry Clean only- then it is better to do Dry clean and avoid washing- Especially first wash .
    The color might run or the fabric may shrink.
