i am new to the forum, and love all the ladies input in every subject, very very informative and encouraging. well ia m heading to india next week , i would love to know if you can please post where you got these borders .
i will be in mumbai , last timei went to chennai. but my brother lives there so ican send my sis in law to do my work for me.
please please tell us where therse are available.
i know one lady in chennai who does perk up our old silk andkancheepuram sarees. she did a few of mine. when i get a chance i will post my pictures.
she told me she buys the borders from mumbai , somewhere in dadar or colaba , not within my reach, i have to go out of the way to get them,.

oh i did see one shop in pursalwakam , a marwadi shop whre the sell borders ,but your brain spins when you are there , it is hard to pick anything.
this array of choice is superb.

In Hyderabad we get in Narsingh - Ameerpet, Chawli - kukatpally(beside R S brothers), In Ramkoti

In chennai I THInk we can get in Raja thread shops - tnagar or in parrys

In mumbai try in lakshmi market beside sawaan bazaar lane inside, in CHEMBUR. Again in vashi sector 9 while entering vegetable market at the end left side in one of the lane there are many tailoring item shops .

In dubai - india house restaurant building in Burdubai in the same complex there is one shop
