| I usually store rice in plastic container. After two or three weeks, I can see small insects running inside the rice. How can I prevent this? Need help….. Last edited by Induslady; 3rd June 2005 at 12:14 PM. |

| I have added chillies inside the rice container and to my surprise, now insects are not troubling. Thank you Amudha. I haven’t forgotten the others who gave me advices. Thanks to you all too and I will certainly try all of your suggestions. |

| when u buy for a month defenitely during summer or rainy ants crawl in...better to clean the rice and then put it in a box and not add along with the old one there though it might be less better clean the container and then store....now just dip the ant pesticide available in store dip with a little water and swab around the container in the bottom and sprinkle the powder all around the container on the out side and u will find all crawling agents dont come forward whether summer or rainy...of course u need to do it every 15 days to chek it....hope i have helped..regards...sundarikannan |
