old shampoos and body wash for cleaning!

when i bought a store brand body wash,i used it for a week and kept it aside b/cos the skin became very dry..i thought of throwing out..but suddenly an idea came..i started using it for the pot bowl and bath tub...such a good aroma with bubbling action..also am using an old shampoo for my wash basin...everyday,toilet is sparkling clean with a good smell..So,friends,don't throw off ur old shampoos or body washes..u don't need to buy harmful sprays or liquids for toilet bowls or tubs..i also used the body wash for tiles..So,try it out and see! just thought of sharing this with all!

I too use old shampoos for cleaning wash basin , toilets, plastic mugs . as Rya says we should not throw old shampoos........

I use old shampos for washing costly clothes. The clothes will smell good & dirt will be removed gently.

ur idea is superb for using old shampoos for cleaning wash basin & toilets

i had recieved an email recently regarding a compound called SLS in shampoos which can cause harm to the skin. On checking the shampoo that we were usingi was shocked to find that it contained this harmful compound, so immediately replaced it with another brand. so now i use the old one to clean all my rugs and mats...it does work well on them :)

Even my mom used to save the remainings in an old shampoo bottle. She would mix water shake well and add it in the washing machine along with detergent.
