| Hi all, Can any one help me how to remove sweat marks or stains on my Pattu blouse. My weeding saree blouse has that marking at underarm region on both hands. May be due to sweating on that time but its very ugly to see now. The stains are like that only. Even my saree has some stain marks of ghee and milk (felt at the time of homama) Any idea what should to do to remove them? Is that good if give for dry wash because its expensive pattu blouse, i don't want to take any risk? Actually how to clen Pattu sarees and blouses? Because normal washing is not suggested know! ![]()

| Hi Suni,Saras, Noticed this thread just now.My wedding sarees had stains from the water that dripped from the garland, sweat, chandan ..what not.I really didnt want to get it drywashed as they use hard chemicals and my new saree will be spoilt. My mom's saree was spoilt that way. So i used a mild shampoo(baby shampoo) and washed it by hand.Just soak it for a min and gently wash it and dry it air.No sun drying. It worked for me. This is my personal experience. You can go for drywash if its a first wash as suggested by chocolate if you have a good drycleaners near your place.some guys are really good. They do a neat job as well. |
