Default tips for home

dear friends,
these are some tips for home and lifestyle.
To keep the tea or coffee stored in the thermos flask fresh for a long time, add sugar only when you are about to drink it.
While storing bananas in fridge, to avoid the blackening of the banana peels wrap them in newspaper.

Wipe clean the kitchen counters with a spoonful of vinegar to stop the marching ants

With a little dab of shoe polish, slight nicks and scratches on the wooden furniture can be hidden. Try mixing different shoe polish colors to get the exact shade of your wooden furniture

Betel nut shavings or neem leaves can be kept in the kitchen cabinets to ward off cockroaches

While washing turn your clothes inside out to prevent wear and tear to your clothes thereby making it last longer. It would also prevent washer damage to your clothes
Got a really tough coffee stain in your sparkling white tablecloth? Do not worry. Change the color of your tablecloth into brown by soaking it in a bucket of strong coffee. Now you have got a new tablecloth . The stain has also become invisible.

Keep a notepad handy in the kitchen. Let a shopping list grow.

Whenever you run out of essential things in the kitchen jot it down in a notebook kept handy in the kitchen itself. You need not make a separate shopping list. Nor would you have forgotten something important
By wrapping greens in newspaper and keeping them in frost-free fridges, the moisture is still retained in the greens.
