Getting rid of drozofilla flies

Hi frnds..,
Iam padma from Atlanta..,
I usually clean my kitchen everyday., but recently i have problem of these small drozofilla flies(kan kuthi poochi in tamil) increasing in my kitchen..,so many small small flies are there in the kitchen.., it makes me feel very irritated and now i cud find them in bathrooms too..,
I really dnt know how to get rid of these flies..,
please do suggest me any methods to get rid of those flies...,

Your problem is pretty common. The drosophila or fruit flies, as they are commonly known, often appears when you have open fruit bowls or if you have green plants and flowers standing around in your kitchen and home. Especially over ripe fruit and flowers left standing in vases for a longer period of time seem to attract them. See to it that you keep the fruit fully covered and if you have plants, try spraying them with safe insecticide.
