Default How to avoid ants in flour

Hi to all,
anyone plz suggest me some remedies to avoid ants in flour....becoz of summer season,suddenly my Aata dubbha full of ants...here i didn't get neem leaves...
i heard for cockroach if v keep umbrella in the night in the kitchen,then in the morning all the cockroaches will b there in the umbrella...but for ants,i don't have any idea other than turmeric powder...

Hi,

I have read that putting a couple of bay leaves (tej patta) in the flour keeps bugs away. I've never tried it though.

hi vivbass,

we get "lakshman rekha chalk" in the stores. just buy it and draw a circle with the chalk around the "dubba" on the shelf. and let me know the results.

put some dry red chillies, split.. heard that works too !!

obviously yoru atta will be bit spicy.. but Andhra is famous for spice anyways, yeah ;)
