Question Cleaning shower curtains

Hi,
I have a question regarding bathroom shower curtains(plastic ones),I wanna know how do all, clean the shower curtains cause after a while it gets dirty with mold on the creases and in the US we dont have big spaces to spread the curtains and clean them.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Default shower curtains

Hi Maggie,

I too have same type of curtains.Use undisolved liquid Bleach .Just spread the curtain in the tub bath.Pour the bleach on the places which are dirty.Leave it for 30 mins .Then scrub the whole cutain with a soft brush.Use your shower to clean the curtain and hang it back on the rack.you will find it sparkling.

Regards
Priyanka

Thanx priyanka for the prompt reply.I have a question. Is the bleach you are using ...a laundary bleach or the heavy duty bleach, cause i guess if i use a strong ones, that might react with the plastic.

Thanx once again

Default machine wash

Dear Maggie,

I machine wash my shower curtains in the cold water cycle. They always come out clean and dry immediately even without spreading, since they are plastic.

Default cleaning shower curtain.

Hi Maggie,

Was just reading ur post. I just put my shower curtain in the washing machine with a little soap powder and about a cap ot two of household bleach. The programme u set is for the one we use for dark synthetics about 50 degrees temp. The curtain comes out snow white as well gets cleaned pretty well. You could also soak it in the bath tub with same solution and leave for a couple of hrs and just wash it down with clean water.
Hope this helps.
regards
Pravina
