Dear Chitra Madam,

Thank u very much for the explanations.
I agree, The questions are serious & sensitive ones, that can create a 'storm'..!
But opinion always differs...& I'm glad to know about ur personal view.

Same questions..I used to ask my parents/grand parents....finally, we only end up in arguments!
The only reply...they would give is that ' when we were young, we never used ask or argue like u, we listen & obey to elders..
But now, my children are growing up ...they're full of questions, they need more (scientific!) explanations for everything!

Anyhow, I just take this opportunity to thank u all, for not only giving us information/explanation
but also create an awareness to know more about our religion/custom etc.!

And I'll look in to the details for 3rd & 4th questions.

Before I end, I want say...ur replies are polite/ humble & very down-to earth!
