| Dear Priya, Thankyou. Please read the post on Lakshmi. It is sad that many have missed it. Next, I plan to post Sarasvathi, tomorrow. Love, Chithra. |
| ||||
| Dear Chithra I see you have written your sister's name is Durga so you think of her first. Isnt that why we were given God/goddess names so the thought of God might appear bec. of repetetive calling ??? |
| ||||
| Dear AC, You are very correct ! I wonder if we are also given any Goddess's name ?:confused: Love To Chitra From Chithra. |

| Dear Kurunji Malare, Thaks for your nice words, which make me more & more thirsty to share more & more with you ! I will try to "lay my hands " on the song & post it if I am successful. Love, Chithra. Quote:

| My dear Chithra, As I was away, I missed reading your Navarathri quartet of posts! About Lalitha, Durga, Sarasvati and Lakshmi. I have been wanting to catch up with all your posts in this thread. I got to read about the Devis today and enjoyed it immensely. I never thought that so much significance was attached to their vahanas. Was interesting to read about the owl and also about Sarasvati Devi having two vahanas. But I was confused to read about 4 Devis. How ignorant I have been all these years ! These days, whatever question or queries I may have regarding spirituality, Vedantha, cookery or even about compassion, I mentally make a note that I can put that question to you, my own mentor! Chithrakka is there, she will know about it or how to deal with it :) What a brilliant idea to come up with these write ups during the time of Navarathri when Devi is worshiped in all Her glory. Once again, kudos to you. And it is not a matter to be surprised about ...after all, you are Her daughter and blessed by all the four Devis aplenty ! And this comes from my heart! L, Kamla |

| Dear Revathy, I seem to have missed your post. I am very happy that you enjoyed this Durga post ! Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Kamla, Your last line made me very happy - honestly, I ask not for anything more. Lalitha's consort is Kameswaran, also a name for Shiva. It is just that each form represents a different aspectof Devi. Durga represents energy or power, Lalitha represents beauty & grace. Please don't think, I can answer all questions - no, no no ! There are many I know not than I know ! I am glad you read all these posts, without missing ! Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Chitra, My name is Geeta Sharma and i reside in Dubai. I am new on this block and i have been reading your blogs and i admire your knowledge. I have a query which i think you could help me with. I believe and worship lord Vishnu and Durga mata. whenever i worship them, i have them in my dreams wishing and blessing me. it has been quite frequent. now i want to ask you how do I worship Vishnu (reading Bhagwat Geeta gives me immense satisfaction and i can feel good vibes at home). and also how do i commence durga saptashati? i have heard that to start durga saptashati, one has to start with chanting a mantra more than 1 lac. I am intending to start either's pooja or reading their scripts alternatively at home each month. Looking forward to your reply. Have a great weekend. Regards, Geeta Sharma, Dubai |
