Default Beautiful Post !

Dear Chitra,

That was a wonderful post for Kaarthigai (Actually was wondering, why no post was put up by you for Karthigai till now). Nice to read its significance.

The kolam is so beautiful with all those lamps nicely arranged.. Am thinking of learning this beautiful kolam from u now (to use it in my swami table) !

Are there any special neiveidhyams for kaarthigai ? pls let me know.

Love,
Preethi

Default My dear Preethi !

I was really wondering why you have not sent me a F B till now !
The naivedyams are pori urundai, appam ( you can make any sweet appam ) & adai in some houses. Some make vella seedai & some, vadai. But along with pori urundai & appam, make any third item.
Happy Karthikai, Preethi !
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default My dear Preethi !

Prem has been well educated by his mother !
The earthenware akals must be soaked in water overnight & dried thoroughly the next day. That way, they don't absorb much oil.
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Dear Chitra,

You have beautifully described about karthigai deepam. The photo is so beautiful and pleasant. It is one of my favourite festival. Last year i tried to make pori urundai but it didn't come out well. I couldn't make the ball. May be this time i can make it well from your recipe.

Happy Karthigai.

regards,
kodi.

Default Happy Karthikai to you dear Chitra,

That was a well written post with a beautiful kolam Chitra. You have explained it in detail especially the former one. I did not know much about it. I did not understand what you wrote in Tamil. Is that what it says in the end. It is so difficult to follow the ending but will put in my best efforts.
Love,

Default Koti, you are so kind to me !

Yes, K deepam is a nice sobre festival when compared to the bright colourful noisy deepavali.
Thankyou for the F B, Koti.
Happy karthikai.
Love & regards,
chithra.
