Please help me

Hi,
I am raksha from Bangalore, for the first time i am going to chennai with my husband, we are not familiar with tamil language. I just want some basic tamil sentences, like we are staying in hotel, how to communicate with them, and also with auto drivers etc....please anyone help us.......
