Dear Varloo,
An orphanage or old age home would be a wonderful place to spend our time in for the 3rd anniversary. We would be bringing joy to so many people besides having the satisfaction of a day well spent. I know of an old age home in Thirumullaivoil and also a Home for physically challenged children in Annanagar. As Trust member we have been frequenting these homes often and they certainly would do better with a little bit of help. Ofcourse, these are my suggestions only. Let other members also come upon some deserving Homes. Whichever is convenient for majority members, that can be chosen as the final destination.

Lata, if you can, please would you mind organising, if all agree to this? We will make this a reality, we shall try to attend at least for 1/2 hour. If we get all the details of the number of inmates etc., each one of us could bring something (only one) and give to them.
Or else we can contribute a sum of money for the lunch of the day to the inmates and we too sit with them and eat. That will be a good ides.
One of our members felt that this would be a good idea.
Lata, if you could take the initiative, you could rope in some other member too to help you, who lives nearby. We will have to decide and plan at least now.
It seems that many members are for this idea.

thanks foryour consideration, one day it might happen (you sponsoring me to Dubai, who knows).
Thanks for your suggestions. It is great that yourslf and better half are sponsering the lunch. I only asked the idea of people, I never pronounce judgements usually. And latamurali's noble idea was acceptable to all. I fee that all of us were wanting to do something like this, but some thing or the other was preventing us. Now this is a good occasion to have 2 celebrations, one is IL's anniversary and the other is the visit to the orphanage. I find that many people are contributing to the less previlaged people monetarily, and some are even giving them time-what great souls.
So this is a good chance for all of us to do this noble deed. We will be motivated to do more.
I wanted to suggest Banyan, but they have a great star following and funds willnot be a problem mostly. I had wanted to help some lesser known place and Lata's idea clicked well.
Now please pray that we all should be able to participate with out any hitch, there is many a slip between the cup and the lip. Luckily for me, Aravindh's Plus 1 annual exams are over by 24th and his practicals will also finish on 29th. That day Raghavan can take care of him. Next time you come home, do give us some time, we can all meet then.I know you will be pressed for time between immediate family, circle or friends etc, but now we are also friends. Keep this in mind.
