I heard from a friend that veeras at G A Road, Vannarapet has got a good variety of dresses n materials at throwaway prices.Got to go sometime. There are many shops at other places in chennai where they sell pantheon road materials. I have seen them while going to friend`s house at besant nagar. There are two shops near cool cat 2nd avenue and the other I saw opposite to the mosque at adyar.

I recently shopped for salwar materials in panthoen road and found material to be good. Top material - 60 rs per meter and another 100 rs per meter Bottom material - 60 and 65 rs per meter (10 or 15rs per meter than what sudhakec earlier posts bought for). Not sure if prices have increased.
