Libraries in chennai

The library which u mentioned in Anubav foundation flats (near Badala Vinayagar Temple) it is LITTLE LENDING LIBRARY.

It is in the back side of the same flat.

There is one behind in the lane opposite ullagaram muncipality office called Anbu lending library...don't have the correct address..saw it when paying property tax (the lane beside kumaran theatre - muncipality.)

I think there is one more library in the anubav foundations flats ground floor right.

Good to see a thread on my fav topic of books. I am an avid reader too....and I do have my profile in Shelfari.com

But I am not someone who would visit libraries....coz I somehow didn't find any of them impressing me or i hav to travel distance. I rather prefer to smell the books in my bookshelf...guess am ready to hav my own library sometime.

Of course I stopped reading fiction long back......! Quite a useful thread though....may be one of these days will bump into a local library!

Welcome here. me too a voracious reader. Had been buying and stacking books everytime. now after knowing i can reduce my carbon print by borrowing books, i do that. but still do buy books...looks like books and me are inseperable....
