Libraries in chennai

Hi to all,
Another library where I used to get books. Even now when I visit Chennai I take books from this library. Charges are reasonable because I have always taken loads of books and return them whenever I visit Chennai again (P.S. I visit once in a month :D, if I don't my friends do ).

Thanks for the address, I knew there was a maruthi library, my nephews used to take books from..but did not have the address.

There was one more henry .any idea about the address..

I hope there is only one Henry's Lending Library in Chennai. I have the address for the one where I used to visit. Hope its the same you were talking about.

thats again so nice of you to give those addresses of libraries..............

when i was young i had a membership with one of the libraries in commercial street, bangalore................that library used to be flooded with children during summer holidays, but now kids find hardly any time to go to the library.....................

you are welcome. The library i visit, has so many kids reading, I cannot agree with kids have lost the passion for reading.

Give me,veda and the kids books..it is enough..all of us are voracious readers...

yr article abt library takes me to uma lending library in korattur and govt library behind bathavatsalam school, korattur, i doubt whether these are still there. Hope veda is aware of these korattur libraries.

I mean kids picking lot of books. not reading there. I am member of ranga library for the past 10 years.

There is one behind in the lane opposite ullagaram muncipality office called Anbu lending library...don't have the correct address..saw it when paying property tax (the lane beside kumaran theatre - muncipality.)

I think there is one more library in the anubav foundations flats ground floor right.

S ur right...........i also have seen the places where u have mentioned...........near muncipality office library (it is near to my place)
