Hi all chennaites,

Let us all share info on the classes that are happening around your places. and also addresses of sports places, fine arts you know...

Let me kickstart with things in my area...

1.There is karate classes in the morning from 6.30 to 7.30 at new prince school ullagaram.

2. there is cricket coaching classes in the morning from 5.45p.m to 7.00 in the morning everyday except sunday in the same place.

3. there is SR SPorts where there is swimming, chess, drawing (i think summer classes), tennis (lot of good players have emerged from here) and TT.

CArnatic music you have lot of teachers in abundance in nanganallur.

Recently abaswaram ramji also has started classes here.

It is a very good thread and let me also share some gud news as and when it comes.

About Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Drawing etc as u said SR Sports school -

For Swimming they charge Rs.1000 as frist training and after that Rs.200 Per month. They also have baby pool and the starting age for a kid is 2 years to 2 1/2 years.

Their is a yogo training center also near Kumaran Theater bus stop and in that they take classes for small children also, this will suit especially for the children with obesity problem.

you are right. i have included it in skating and swimming and missed it out in tennis. thanks for pointing out. actually this list is incomplete as i said in the beginning. it needs more input. i have just started.waiting for people to add.
