The best part of your FB is the ‘Archimedes Revisited’ stuff. I have never come across such a fabulous explanation of Archimedes’ Principle! “When a person is wholly or partially immersed in alcohol, he suffers an apparent loss of memory which is equal to the volume of alcohol displaced out from the bottle. “ You may perhaps consider rephrasing the words ‘displaced out from the bottle’ as ‘consumed from the bottle’. I’ll surely make use of this new Archimedes in all my future binges!

Your theory of relativity will surely gladden the hearts of all chocolate lovers like me. I have a great weakness for the bitter chocolates! And I do feel so energized after every single bite of the heavenly stuff. It is possible that Einstein who was himself a great chocolate enthusiast started his way here and shifted the equation from the chocolate to a greater canvass.

I have often been told that the simplest solution to a problem usually never occurs to a human mind. After reading from you how easily I could have fixed my leaky tap, I could realize how true this statement was! Instead of feeling such acute jealousy about the great Karthaveer, I could have just changed the washer indeed! By the way, can anyone throw light on why the thing that regulates the water flow from a tap is called a washer particularly when it hardly does any washing?
I find it hard to believe that you can’t teach your DS particularly when you have taught me now a totally new insight into Archimedes’ Principle!

Well yes your routine with an early morning bath with a 1000 W smile (presumably) aint very different from ours out here. The routine minus the smile. The acute water shortage leaves us with lil choice but to jump in the moment we hear the sound of H2O.

Loved your theory of relativity. Now thats what we call lectures from the experienced minds..

Loved Ma'am retorts too. Well who else but she can do this.;)

And the piece de resistance is but obviously the last statement. That could only come from a wonderful son!

My dear Chithra,

I was enjoying your sivane and gumane keda, but the local PG Wodehouse tries to get away with counter remarks which you rebutted very well.

Loss of memory from alcohol is so common,including my DH use to suffer. Actually i wrote an article on it but never posted it thinking twice.
I tread IL v.carefully, anyway only two of you laugh at my jokes.
When i come to chennai, meeting two of you will be dream realized. I sincerely appreciate you.

This is more amazing than the fact that a girl in pig tails wearing braces for her teeth and pimples covering the face growing into a lovely maiden!

Bath without a smile? It is unthinkable! I smile even if I have to have my bath without water and merely simulate the action!

Glad you liked my take on the Theory of Relativity. When you mentioned about Madam's retort, I thought for a moment you were referring to Mrs.Einstein and the tantrums she was throwing at the scientist! I recollect what Wodehouse wrote about his wife Ethel in a forward to one of his novels stating 'I dedicate this to my wife Ethel but for whom I would have completed it years back!' All Madams can only retort! They are damn good at it!
