They are very possessive on their masters. But even in this they are something different from humans. They don't behave like what possessive husbands behave in films. | Dear Vanaja
I agree that dogs can be as possessive as husbands if not more but try coming back from a place where another dog might have taken a fancy to you. Your dog will come near you, sniff around for a while and go and lie down in a dark corner with a long face!. That way they are no better than husbands!

Hi Cheeniya,
It is so nice of you to imagine . I have a big sympathy for the animals always as they can't communicate. Your piece of dogs made me think for a while. So very true. My DH had a similar experience and decision, in his childhood, as to you, the pet death.
Regards,
Oviya.

How do you say animals can not communicate? Look at the eyes of the goats waiting in the queue for the butcher's knife and you'll know what they are saying.
A pet's death is so traumatic and the tragedy is that they can not tell us what agonies they go through in the process of dying.

Kind IL'ites - Thanks for enjoying my silly banter. I conect to my silly self now and then and unleash it in Cheeniya Sir's forum only because I know it will be tolerated here.
AC - I think these streaks of humor can be attributed to the waters of the divine Chattahoochee that you and me drink.

Dear Nivedi/AC
A joint communication, nay, request to you. Next time any of you visit India, bring me a bottle of Chattahoochee water if you think I have spelt it correct! I would love to reinforce my deteriorating sense of humor!
