| Dear Cheeniya, I guess your thoughts on celebration will be much approved by my DH and his good friends, who happen to meet every Saturday and on Fridays to get the logistics right for saturdays and in between when one or few of them have had a rough day or a good day at office . Incidentally they have to find some piece from thretha yuga to drown onself during bad times. If by mistake I happen to read this post to my DH or one of his friends that by itself will be a cause to celebrate and me being part of such a group will once again call for celebration . One more reason could be me being educated about the scriptures which I read in the true spirit!!!! regards, uma |

I never believed in love at first sight until I met Kamalji here in IL. I mean 'met' in a figurative way! I am now so convinced about it that I could wager my last shirt on it! I'll continue to promote camaraderie in IL until you say bust! Sundara Kandam is the one that led me to write this post! I can now clink glasses without a feeling of guilt! As someone said, there have been people who gave up reading when they read about the evils of drinking! But fortunately, my reading has helped me to crystallise my views on drinking! Sri

This particular chapter in Sundara Kandam also speaks about the antics of people who have one too many. You cant deny that some people become such fun to watch when their grey cells are completely taken over by alcohol! But I must admit that humour is at its best among revellers. Some of those jokes may be unprintable but the rest are really classic stuff. If your DH finds my post a cause for celebration, I'll be doubly happy. After all as a wise friend of mine told me, drink is the grease that makes the world go round smoothly! Sri

Though Lord Hanuman endorsed drinking in this particular case, he never touched the stuff himself. Be like Hanuman and be a good boy! Yes Veda Let us toast to the fantastic unity and camaraderie in IL. This has given us all some identity and let us all work for consolidation of this identity! Sri

| Dear Cheeniya Sir Reading the title came immediately to see for what you are toasting with Kamalji. This was a wonderful post yes Kamalji doesn't need a reason to celebrate, always a jolly good person We need to celebrate each and every moment of life as Lord has given us that moment to live. Here is my toast for the strong bond between all of us in this wonderful community. Even without seeing each other we feel we are so close to each other. for all our IL friends.

That was a warm and wonderful toast to the strong bond that ties all of us here! Yes. Every moment of our life on this planet is worthy of celebration. All the days that we remain morose and unfriendly will have to be deducted from our life! I have not seen you, may never see you and yet you are larger than life to me! That is the greatness of IL Sri

| Dear Sri, Before I could blink my eyes, your thread has become “hot”!! A toast to celebrate your enjoyable sense of humour, very apt & rightly timed. To connect humour in sundarakandam , relating to quotes of eminent persons and ending with a toast to Kamalji – Sri, you are too good! You have started with thretha yuga and come to Kali Yuga. Whatever fasination BL offers to you & kamalji has been justified “yuga yuganthara” ! So, when you both meet you both will be , I suppose!!Let us celebrate ![]() The bonhomie shared by two great bloggers in IL The stalwarts rushing to reply you here, as though in a queue, pushing me to the end! ![]() When it comes to super topics, you are indefatigable! Love, Chithra. |
