Yesterday, after a long time, I came home from office early and started watching the match.... I know it is my mistake...

I too joined you in back stabbing NS and MSD... That is the reason CSK lost the match...

But, though it looks like CSK fought till the last ball... There were too many misfields and dropped chances, which the RR took full advantage... Also it was a YP's dream day, where everything went in his favour... Great...

Jai Guruji!!!!!...

Et tu Veda? How can you? I expected you to be a little patriotic but you have proved otherwise by watching this match knowing fully well of its disastrous consequences. Who allowed you to get back home early to watch the match? He is also a culprit!
Did YP dream of a few people dropping the catches offered by him? How do you know? I think that it was the wide and the accompanying single in the last over by Balajee that did us in. Without a wide it would have been at least a 'tie' even if a single was conceded.
But whatever it is, I never expected you to join the gang of murderes of CSK!

Dear Sri,

This is all because of Shanthi.... Somewhere in IL, I read that all men blame their DW for everything... So, now I have to follow... Otherwise AC akka and Chitvish might get angry... hahahahahahahaha.... (ennal ana kai vannam...).......

They left Muscat on Saturday early morning... Sunday I was feeling the pinch of it... Starting from the morning coffee... No coffee... missing them... So, couldnt concentrate much in the office... So had to get back early to home.... What to do....

So... now it is all because of Shanthi & co...

Jai Guruji!!!!!!!... Jai Mathaji!!!!!!!!.......

VOW SRI look who is owning up the blame for chennai,
i must appreciate your penchant crave for this game and its winning or loss, enjoyed the interludes with you and your daughter more here, we know the games may sway either way but to have a appa and a daughter interacting on same wavelength now that is something very rare we got to read here, nice article and i know many like you if taken a survey may come up with vishnu sahasranamam running in the background for the match to win i also saw dhoni's irritated and worried look, sunkan

Dear Cheeniya,
having confidence is good, but over confidence, that too in this age! You are incredible, cheeniya sir. Next time, your daughter would certainly lock you up in the rest room, I am sure about that.
My son wanted very much to watch the match fully, but as he had school on Monday, he had to retire to bed by 11. He would have cursed everyone who made this education system. Thalaila edi vizha, un moonchija en peechankaiyai vaika- these are some of his choicest words as we are very strict about the language used at home, no idea what he would have chose at school.
By the way, these guys had started having bets in the class room. And he lost.

Dear Cheeniya Sir,

It was tough to control my laughter .I went on a laughing spree all through the post. Your writings are so very hilarious. This is going to do wonders for our life.

I cannot comment on the lamp going off.Probably youre blessed to know things before hand. But then I guess youre daughter is also equally well equipped with certain powers.I really never knew that the mute button, the cable TV , the toilet had so much control over vital decisions. Point noted Sir. I shall be keenly observant in future , no not watching the match but watching the body language and the various other important aspects like nature's call etc. Maybe I can also contribute in some way to our very team, Mumbai Indians. Oh we needed it very badly. If only you had let me know about this possibility before. But anyway theres always a next time.!!!

Thankyou so much Sir for the wonderful post. Hilarious is an understatement!!

Love,
Your Mol

Dear Sri,
You are sure gifted.to make us all laugh out loud!! I was laughing and laughing, that my collegues gave a sarcastic smile and commented that agni nakshtram is over... so come back to normal nu...haa haa.You really let your imagination run riot to come up with a post like this! My Cousin brothers also used to have lots of sentiments. They will not even swap their places on sofa if a wicket falls due to the swapping.I also remember that, one of my cousins friend used to wear a same shirt for all India matches to make sure he is not the cause for India's defeat..Howzaat??

Enjoyed it throughly, Sri!

Dear Veda
In view of what has been stated by you, we condone your momentary lapse that resulted in Chennai losing the Finals. We would, however, advise you in your own interest not to indulge in any activity that may be construed as unpatriotic.
Yours faithfully
Cheeniya

Dear Sundari
Thanks a lot for sharing our agony. You are right about Dhoni. He did wear a look that was a mixture of worry and irritation which according to the local girls made him more handsome. Ever since, he was made the captain of the team, I have lost my market share of whatever substantially!
I do share some very fine moments with my daughter except when she unfairly blames me when our cricket team performs below potential!

Dear Varloo
You dont know much about me. I always think much ahead. Being aware of the possibility of getting locked up in the rest room, I have not provided locking facility from outside for its doors!
A big wow for your son. That statement about keeping the left hand on the other's face has indeed stirred nostalgic memories. I have used it umpteen times during my school days and I'm thrilled to hear that it is still doing the rounds!
Your son must know that betting has no place for patriotism! That Kappugedera (What a name!) was the biggest spoil sport yesterday. I am sad that your son put his penny on a team that had a player like him!

Dear Sri
Yet another great and hilarious post.. It was absolutely packed with suspense and fun till the finish .. great job as always.. This scene happens with every sport, believe it or not.. and more so with men and sports.. With the current French Open going in full swing and our local basketball finals my dh acts out the same way..fortunately for him no other household member blames him if Federer loses a point or Sharapova loses a game!.. But dh still runs out of the bathroom anxiety written large yellingg "what happened".. dont know whats it with watching the sport.. this reaction is quite prevalent.. thanks for a hilarious writeup!
