Inscrutable are the ways of God!
They appear so inscrutable to an ordinary human mind that we start thinking that He has no pattern in how He dishes out HIs blessings and we even think that He has some kind of prejudice against us whenever our appeals or prayers are not acceded to. But what you have stated above is how we must learn to accept His judgement.

Dear Cheeniya sir,

Inspired by your this thread on much harassed God I am putting several stories in the Indian stories section titled " Kadavulum Kandasaamiyum", "Kadavulum Kalyaniyum", "Kadavulum sopna sundariyum" and "Kadavulum Kichamiyum". I don't know whether you have read them. Anyway, I thank you for motivating me to write these stories.

HAHA.You are such a nice person for God to come to.Just imagine if God came to a scoundrel like me, who has all these dirty habits.God chose the right person to visit.


But on another thought, God would have been eating all the Veg that I would offer him, the Prasad and ladoos, while I would be making merry, eating and drinking while talking to him, and I think, God may want to trade places with me, me to go up to the Apsaras, and he to trade places with me.

But for sure I would not go.There would be a lot of things absent upstairs.First of all there would be no Indus, then no Sri, IPL,cheerleaders, no blogging etc.

So I think I will stay down here, and let other worthies go up to enjoy the goodies.HAHA.

Mercifully all religions depict their Gods as teetotallers and in Hinduism He is Vegetarian too. Otherwise, I shudder to think what would comprise of our Naivedya (Offerings). And you'll be closeted most of the time in the Pooja Room making offerings to God because all such offerings are eventually consumed by us!
I too would find it extremely tough to live in a world where there is no IL!

Good one.I like it when u say, that we ourselves eat the prasad we put at the lord's feet.

Now i remember what u say is true.But here i lites will kill me, if i say that since i would have to eat theprasad, i will put something that i like at her feet.But i dont want to get killed really.So much more to do and write on IL.Regards.kamal

Vidya is my moderator and Chitvish did that indexing. I have readers yes but 'fans' is a pompous word. I do not think that I command that kind of a premium in IL to have any claims for fans. Even if I stop writing here, no one would miss me!
