Well, I remember those days pretty well.30 per minute to Mumbai from jaipur, day time, and I just spoke a minute if urgent, like “ Brother DD recd, goods sent, mom ok? U ok ? more at night .bye.

Night means 9 pm, when the one third rate starts, and I speak like 5 mins to mom.And now I too ramble on and on with mom and brothers at 1/- per minute.

And with 99/- u can talk unlimited in jaipur BSNL to BSNL, and 149/- unlimited Rajasthan.

But Sri, I can tell u, we all talk bullshit when the rates are low.And we spend more these days on the phone bills than when phones wer expensive, as words were measured.

And tell me Sri, I don’t understand this, was the government screwing us, sorry to use the word, then ? god knows really.Regards.kamal
Dear Kamal
I too remember the old days. My calls to Delhi used to cost Rs 60 per minute. That is one pulse per second and my own pulse used to be double the normal when the Delhi call was on! Ironically I had a lot to talk then but now with all these concessions, I hardly feel like talking. But that excludes you! With you, it will be money worth spent!
I like the way you bring every topic down to BL even if the discussion is about Gandhi!

It is ok if the Government screwed us then. They have amply unscrewed us now!
Sri
