The swelling of the finger beyond a limit!

So back with another hilarious post on swollen finger and Darwin's theory! wow, now i wonder how you do this.....and all this in such excellent flow of thought as if you are telling a nice story and giving all those "intelligent Quotes from......well, Is it Neurology, neuro science or neurophysiology....(oh what with all the new branches and sub branches i am totally floored!)

Whatever that was, it definitely went over my head, me not being a science student...he he.....but finally got the gist of what you said without ending in an equivalent here of our Kilpaukam! ( anyway it is not easy to get admitted in any hospital.....adu oru thani kadai, thank God!)

Now waiting for the connection between our good old Oats and Swelling of fingers by our esteemed Friend.....wonder where she is ........maybe cooking up something with Oats To Come back with bang( hopefully not on our heads!)

I just saw ur end quote, as i was signing off....wanted to write a rejoinder, by then u mentioned it yourself......can i boldly say," Great MINDS THINK ALIKE"
or should i say Telepathy , a passing of thoughts from Germany to india, or vice versa!?! Again i am heading towards K......!
But seriously, where did u get this quote and do u believe it....it kind of makes sense and i do feel relieved .....what do u say!?

Who else could utter such profound words but the old reliable, Mark Twain?!! When you say 'Great minds think alike', I do hope you have included mine too! All of us collectively feel relieved by Mark Twain's statement!

I had reserved to read this one for a later date, but could not resist!!More than the Darwin theory, your theory is, evolving form a finger to the origin of man is really .You did it.! made me think about it....is it that ..a finger while swelling , has to stop somewhere, because of the simple biological reason, that it has two or at least one (leave out the thumb, please) nearby to restrict it??????

Fingers set an excellent example for us to follow. They teach is that we should complement each other's role in the family that if one starts having a swollen head, the others should restrict it and bring it back to normalcy. Thanks for pointing out this important fact about how other fingers restrict the swelling on any one finger!

Read your post on swollen fingers but was more floored by the arattais. I visit you thread mainly for these vambus. Noooooooo I am not a vambu mami but enjoy the same.

Waiting for C mami now to come with a bang. Maybe she has not had her quota of oats and not feeded the same to her system I think, because she says IL & internet are playing traunt with her.

It is strange that more peolpe tend to suffer from heads swollen with pride that from fingers swollen!
AC, with advancing age, as motor skills like dexterity start declining, rolling a roti may be difficult; even cutting vegetables may be tough - at such trying times, oats will be your saviour! Combine with fruits or nuts (are you reminded of monkey again because of the Mahanubhavar's comparison?) - lo, one meal is done.
It is a pity that none of you know how Mr Mahanubhavar relished my Strawberry Basundhi - his wife had promised me that she will never tell him what the contents were!
Forced to consume oats?? - ugh! What a statement!!

Last week, his GD phoned up asking me for a second batch of Oats & dates cookies, since the first batch was fully relished & gobbled by her thatha. So I was busy baking yesterday.
Hence you are right in your statement

So you have equated me with Vishu and his 'Arattai Arangam'. I would rather be compared with him rather than T.Rajinder.
C mami is busy distributing her Oats and so runs out of stock quite often. I have now decided to complement her oatomania as I complement her threads in Gita. I have started researching how to prevent oats from coagulating and also to increase its shelf life. The problem is that it is very difficult to find out the age of oats because the young oats appear almost identical with the centurian oats. Their age can be determined only after you consume them and they start their work inside!
