Dear Naradi,
I just started the proceedings - now I am just an onlooker.
If you shout for help, I will come & release you from the tight spot - not that Le C will look at it favourably !
Love
La C.

Cheeniya Sir,

The missing piece here is an R.K.Laxman cartoon depicting Rajoo-like characters. Also reminds me of Parthiban - Vadivelu comedy where Parthiban has great fun putting Vadivelu into tight spots.

There is a lady in my family whose children had grown-up and were living elsewhere. Her husband is no more and she was living alone. Her only source of entertainment was standing near the gate of her house and conversing with every soul that passed that way. She would speak to one neighbour about another and that way would bring all of them into the battle-field. Poor folks, the only thing missing was swords in their hands. And this lady would sit chuckling at her glorious acts. In the little time that she had apart from causing all this in her neighbourhood, she will call up all known and unknown relatives and make one fight against the other. These days with STD and ISD rates being cheaper, she does not spare anyone in the world.

Dear Nivedi
After reading your FB, I felt that I should have titled my thread "What do you do for fun?!" I know that a lot of people are dying of boredom and if anyone can start a special service to make life entertaining for such people, the business could be lucretive!
In fact, in my younger days, all our films were full of such characters who enlivened the proceedings through their pranks and practical jokes. Nagesh and Thengai Srinivasan were quite a specialist in this category.

Rajoo seems to be enjoying life, but i wonder about his near and dear ones! But i can vouch for the fact that these tight spots do keep BOREDOM away! Bore adikirathu....appadina enna ....that is what i ask myself now!
Not for me Tight Spot a DAy...maybe once a week is enough.....i prefer the peaceful life even if it is BORING!

Dear Cheeniya sir ,
Whenever I sit to give my fb to a post , I feel as though I ‘ve got into a tight spot – eventhough I love doing it ! So I proudly declare that I belong to the second category u mentioned ! That doesn’t mean I never plan things - I do plan , but I don’t stick to it firmly thereby making myself & others around me tensed .
“If I wake up in the morning, I must have a problem to solve. If I ever run out of problems, I’d rather not wake up at all than die of ennui!” – Rajoo ,a man who knows to enjoy life to the fullest ! ! Very apt person to suit the title of ur post !
People who never wants to get into tight spots really lose the thrill of life . I totally agree with your words : .
“ You will find it thoroughly boring to be in his company since you know what his actions are going to be next minute, hour, day, week, month, year and even a decade” My dad is exactly like that –what worse is he assumes things that may happen in future(also creating so many dimentions to a single tight spot) & starts finding out solutions for each & every dimention of the problem ! I really pity him for his attitude . What else to do ?
I enjoyed ur reply to Veda :

“Each tight spot, when successfully negotiated, enhances our belief in ourselves. Sometimes it makes us become aware of our own latent talents that may have remained unrecognised so far!” Very true ! It makes me think - to attain that thrill & recognition of our ownself we can even pass through so many tight spots in our life !

Regards ,
Indhu .

Dear Sudha
It's a pity that your spots are getting so tight that you can't even log into IL! Of course, I guess that your life must be getting more and more interesting to such an extent that you ask Bore na enna?!
Well, well, well. As Bertie would say!
