Let me share my experiences from what i've noticed in my friend's wedding. As she was my close friend, I went to her home earlier. The beautician was late. At first I was not able to see her make-up and her hair-do. In Hurry-burry, the beautician did a very simple hairstlye. It was shocking for me. As I dont wish to interrupt her work, helped her to make the hair style attractive. Later Covered the hairstyle with veil and wreath.

Always have a qualified beautician.

i did my own makeup on my wedding day and my cousin and aunt helped with my dress-i had worn a red khada dupatta- the traditional hyd dress.
the makeup was done neatly and looking natural and not made up and the pics came out really good.

i wud advice young brides to be to do their own makeup as they know their own face, skin color what color suits them best. because a new beautician wud only apply color according to what dress we r wearing not worrying how we look- at least this is what i feel! no offence to anyone!

My Best experience was for my engagement. The beautician arranged by my cousin did a wonderful job..and I could not believe my eyes..I was looking so pretty.Everyone who attended the function loved the hairstyle and many tried it on their own too...

My beautician was the sweetest girl ever. She was punctual, put me at ease and did the job wonderfully. I had a trial of makeup and hair-do with her a month in advance. I took swatch of my lehnga and also pictures of hairstyles and makeup look i liked and then discussed them with her as to what will work/will not work.
I wore dark pink lehnga and she did my makeup and hair really well. However, due to lack of sleep/stress I did not look my best. My advice to the brides is to relax and let others handle last minute things so that the stress does not show on your face.
