How long do U BreastFeed ur baby???

Raj good to hear that ure still weaning her, so right now ure just BFing her no other milk right? Is that enough for her?? thanx for sharing with us. Raj how many times do U BF her in a day?

kavya and cheer..Me too saw this in a tv show..Some how i felt very uneasy..on this whole episode..

Cheer,My second one is around the same age as yours,just completed 6 mnths yesterday.I BF throughout the night(that is 2 or 3 times).Then during the day I alternate,BFd in the morning,then solids around 11 am,then BFd whenever he wakes up,then fruits/vegetables in the evening,then BFd,then 3 oz formula before bed.I started formula from 5 1/2 months,only at bedtime.I started solids at 4 1/2 mnths.I plan to continue with BFing as long as possible,maybe till he is 1 1/2 yrs old,like I did for my elder one.

Cheer, no I don't give her any other milk, and she seems to be doing fine. Her weight is normal, and her pedi recently gave her a clean bill of health. I BF her every 3-4 hours and at 6 pm she eats fruits, veggies or rice.

I have also started giving her chopped fruits as snacks, just to keep her busy while I am cooking dinner.

Raj,does Riya have teeth now..how do you manage with chopped fruits?

Sorry,I don't know whether you have mentioned anywhere regarding Riya's teeth..I don't get to read all posts these days since MIL had a fall down the stairs and is on complete bed rest after surgery..so more work for me managing 2 kids and MIL and no time to read all forums

No, Sunitha, she doesn't have a single teeth yet, but she uses her gums. I don't give her apples and such in chunks, I grate apples, carrots etc. but banana, cantaloupe, peach, avocadoes etc. I chop them the size of peas. It keeps her busy, and now she's getting good at her pincer grasp, too.

It must be hard to manage a bed ridden MIL and two kids. You go, girl!! Hugs to you!

Raj wow thats great that u BF her exclusively & she doesn't want more??? That's really very cool. As far as i know she is 9th mth old is it??
