Dear friends....... I am nursing my 3 month old baby. I read in internet about the Fenugreek which has the capacity to increase the milk supply. I have few questions here ,Please suggest me if someone has used the Fenugreek tablets. 1. Can we use the Fenugreek tablets which we can get in stores? 2. If so which brand of Fenugreek tablets are good? like Natureway? 3. If we are daibetic can we use these? 4. What are the side effects of using it? Pls do suggest me........... Thks........ Vasuk
I have never used the tablets, but have had soaked fenugreek. Yes, it is a little bitter, but I didn't find it that difficult to eat. You could also try oatmeal--thats also supposed to help with increasing milk supply. I take a bowl of oats everyday (use the quick cooking oats).
hi you can try lactare. else simply swallow fenugreek with water... Fenugreek is good for diabetic patients...
I used it and found it helpful to increase milk supply when I was pumping. Take a tablespoon of methi/fenugreek seeds and soak it overnight in a glass of water. Drink this water the next day, and keep re-soaking the seeds and drinking the water all day. You can then use the soaked methi seeds in cooking. It is very good to use while diabetic since fenugreek helps in lowering blood sugar as well.
Thank you PMahensa.. I has started taking fenugreek water daily .. Thks a lot for all yrs suggesstions........
