You can try this:-
1. Try feeding your DS stomach full max by 10 pm. Then put him to sleep.
2. For the first few days you can continue with feeding him only once and then not entertaining for the other two feeds at night. You can talk to him and say sleep now baby and pat him. In case you give in then it will again be a win win situation for him. It will be difficult for some days till he gets used to. He might even cry, just warning you. 3. In case, you and your husband sleep together then may be you can take help from your husband to divert him.
This is what I was thinking for me too may be in the later year. You can give it a try! In case, he still persists then may be you need to speak to your paed. It is by habit that they do things and this can go on till about 3 - 4 years too so in case you are planning to stop then you need to get him trained accordingly.
