Till she got it we were not aware of this. We have to be cautious and just not be careless with persistent headaches etc... Meet doc. and mebbe its not anneurisms but whatever it may be will be cleared with ct scan.

I just happened this post. sorry to hear about your mom. Just wanted to share that my father died last year of the same aneurysm. I too had not heard of this till then. In his case he was such a healthy person, never having visited a doc. He just vomited and then had headache for a day, and then he went for a scan, which showed the rupture etc....docs said he had to be operated immediately. Since he was otherwise healthy, it seemed okay to let him get operated. But unfortunately, he never recovered, he was in a coma for nearly 15 days and then passed away without coming out! It was such a shock for us too......but already 8 months! have been hearing of this so often now.....i guess all the stress of modern living!
But really sad to let go of someone without them seeing us once for a last time.....

Thanks for the condolences.....its almost a year now, but still the loss is a loss! But this new disease has been claiming a lot of lives also....have been hearing a lot of cases like this!

just happened to read ur post and i never knew about anneurism,
first of all iam sorry for ur mother's death.
hope u r coming out of it and pls do take care of ur self and ur dad specially
...and more thing now can u remember that ur mother complained of any of those symptoms u said ...did she had high bp or anything as such.
hope iam sending back ur bad memories ,i just wanted to know from how long was she sufferig
