Novel name and author request

Hi Frnz,

I had read a novel long before ( 10 yrs ).
The novel story is:
There is a colony, where one descent guy who lost his wife lives with his small daughter "KRISHNA", to the colony a postmaster family arrives for rent.
The daughter of postmaster fell in love with that guy, she loves his daughter so much,
Knowing this her father, will engage her to another man, and changes the house.

On the day of marriage her jewels will be lost, so marriage will be stopped.
Her father will be admitted to hospital because of heart attack.

Finally she will be married to the guy who she loved very much.

This is story line. I read this story in KANMANI ( i think so)
Anybody knew the author and novel name. Plz post it.
